Shelby Anne “Sam” Myers, age 86 of Irving, died August 28, 2014. She was born to Oscar Cederstrom and Irene Rooks in DeFuniak Springs, Florida on February 29, 1928. Shelby was a charter member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church, owner of Sam’s Creations, and an active member of Irving Senior Center Crafts. She will be missed by her beloved husband of 63 years, Duane Myers; daughter Anne Deem and husband Rick of Cleburne; daughter Gail Myers of Bedford; son Paul Myers and wife Debra of North Richland Hills; daughter Tanya Stoller and husband Brad of Colleyville, along with 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Plymouth Park Baptist Church with Reverend Ken Branam officiating. Interment following at 2:00 PM at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
