DeaLena MayJune "Dee"  Thomasson (Moore)
DeaLena “Dee” Thomasson, age 75 of Dallas, died August 29, 2014. She was born to J.L. Moore and Ella F. Blalock on March 25, 1939 in Duncan Oklahoma. Dee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and adoptive mother to all who knew her. She loved Elvis, movie trivia, reading, sewing and playing games (especially dominoes). Dee became famous at the Juliette Fowler Christian homes for her wonderful birthday cakes and other desserts. She is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Thomasson; parents, and brother Don Moore. DeaLena will be dearly missed by her daughter Coralie Thomasson-Webb and husband David of Irving; daughter Kendal Thomasson-Harness and husband David of Dallas; son Adam Nicholas Thomasson of Dallas; Kevin and wife Yiyi Kline of Riverside, CA; grandson David Harness Jr.; Kevin Kline Jr; brother Carl Moore and wife Pihua of San Jose, CA; sister Lovella Witter and husband Harry Wineman of Las Vegas, NV; brother Glen Moore and wife Pat of Nebraska. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I've found that peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My Life's been full, I savoured much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch,

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
