Margaret Haanan of Irving passed away September 21, 2014. She was born on December 16, 1935 in Queens, New York to Rudolph and Margaret Velten. Margaret was a member of Oak View Baptist Church serving in the Children’s Sunday School program for many years. She also worked as a school crossing guard for the City of Irving. She is survived by her step-daughter Mary Ann Glasson of El Sobrante, California and many numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service to be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday September 24, 2014 at Oak View Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Gerlach Officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior the funeral service at the church. Interment will follow at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at Oakland Cemetery in Dallas.
