Donald “Fuzzy” Head, age 49 and lifelong Irving resident, died on September 21, 2014. He was born in Irving on February 16, 1965 to David I. Head and Margaret McKeehan Head. Fuzzy graduated from Nimitz High School in 1984 and showed himself to be an automotive savant. He used his talents to enjoy a career as an auto technician. Fuzzy enjoyed muddin’ and was a good ole boy until the day he died. He is preceded in death by his father, David I. Head and his brother David Wayne Head and will be greatly missed by his son Michael Head and his wife Rachel of Lewisville; son Shelby Head of Irving; mother Margaret Head-Briggs and her husband Gary, also of Irving; grandson Dimitri Head; brother Tim Head and his wife Terri of Princeton along with two nephews, three nieces and two great nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Irving with Pastor Clayton Coates and Pastor Wes Brown officiating. Interment immediately following the service at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the funeral home.
