Billie Faye Thompson, age 87 and Irving resident since 1953, died on October 4, 2014. She was born in Frisco, Texas on November 11, 1926 to Frank and Nina Mae Dunafan. Billie was a longtime member of Calvary Temple who loved bowling, yard work and her flowers. She also thoroughly enjoyed her family and will be remembered for her willingness to help anyone who was in need. Billie is preceded death by her parents and her beloved husband and will be greatly missed by her sons Donnie and Jackie Reider of Irving and Norman Coalson of Buffalo, Texas; granddaughter Emily Pettway; grandson Donnie Reider, Jr.; granddaughter Amber Reider; grandson Michael Reider; granddaughters Anna Reider and Martha Ann Weatherford along with ten great grandchildren; step children Mary Lindsey, Sammie and Tony Thompson; three step-grandchildren and three great step-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2014 in Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment immediately following the service at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, Texas.
