Patricia Surber Kerr, 83, of Irving, Texas went to our Lord on Sunday, October 5th, 2014. She was born to the late Fred and Hazel Surber on January 12th, 1931. Patricia graduated from Irving High School and later went on to receive her degree in nursing from Texas Women's University. She was married to Bill J. Kerr on April 17th, 1949. Patricia, affectionately known as "Granny Pat" was the loving, compassionate, and caring matriarch of her family. Granny Pat was a dear soul who brightened the lives of countless people. Her endless compassion, joy, and love will live on forever in the hearts of those she impacted. Patricia is survived by three children: Terry Fresh, Karl Kerr, and Karen Hill, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Her legacy of love will continue to grow in the hearts and minds of those who survived her. We all love you Granny Pat, and will miss you every day. Graveside services will be held at Sowers Cemetery in Irving, Texas on Friday, October 10th at 2:00 PM.
