Rachel Garcia Saabedra of Dallas passed away October 8, 2014 at her home. She was born on February 11, 1952 in Dallas to Eliseo and Beatrice Garcia. Rachel was a resident of Dallas for 62 years. She is survived by daughter Maria Helena Galvan; son Eliseo Saabedra; daughter Martina Acosta; grandson Mark Galvan; granddaughters Vanessa Perez, & Bianca Galvan; grandsons Oscar Galvan, Juan Ramon Galvan, & Sabastian Kelly; granddaughter Jasmine Rivas; grandsons Rodolfo G Acosta, & Isaec E. Acosta; granddaughter Brandy Acosta; sisters Alice Espino, Lydia Martinez; Rita Garcia; Beatrice Jeronimo and brother Alejandro Garcia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, October 10, 2014 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday October 11, 2014 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Rene Luevano officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
