Wanda Deal – A Beautiful and Precious Lady

In thoughts of this wonderful, lovely woman, who was more than a friend; she was like my sister. Wanda had a unique strength of character and caring that was beyond compare. Over a period of forty years or more I came to know her strengths and love for all people. She never had an unkind word about anybody-and if she did she never spoke of it. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who made her family the center of her life. Wanda truly loved each and every grandchild and always made a special effort at birthday times and celebrations for them. If anyone had a problem, Wanda was their confidante. Her very nature was positive and she was able to handle any difficulties with care and concern. Wanda was a true friend who would be there for anyone and was the one you could lean on in times of life’s trials. In her personal life, she faced each problem with patience and determination. I never heard her complain and she kept a positive attitude to get through life. I truly believe she was like a shining star. Her love for people was constant and everyone who knew her was blessed to have her in their lives. I know I am truly blessed to have had such a wonderful and true friend. Her memory will always be in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. She truly was a “Shining Star”.
