Obituary for Marcia Lynn Murphy (Murphy)
Marcia Lynn Murphy of Irving passed away October 12 2014. She was born on August 7, 1957 in Dallas, Texas. She attended MacArthur High School. Marcia was always interested in caring for others, with a special love of children and animals. Marcia was a Registered Nurse for IISD working at A.S. Johnston Elementary School until her retirement several years ago. She was a member of Plymouth Park United Methodist Church in Irving. She is survived by her parents Dr. and Mrs. Thomas P. Murphy of Irving; brother John Murphy of Flower Mound, Texas; sister Sharon Ann Murphy of Irving and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held at Plymouth Park United Methodist Church on Friday 10/17/2014 at 10:00 AM with Dr. Bill Labarr officiating. Interment will be at Bear Creek Cemetery in Euless at 12:30PM. Memorial donations may be made to The Irving Humane Society, 4140 Valley View Lane, Irving, TX 75038 or www.dfwhumane.com or the Charity of your Choice.
