Obituary for Robert Glenn Pruitt
Robert Glenn Pruitt, age 59 of Irving, passed away on October 20, 2014. He was born in Dallas, Texas to George Taft, Sr. and Mavis Dorothy Rott on October 1, 1955 and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. Robert will be greatly missed by his wife Phyllis Pruitt of Irving; daughters Collen Pruitt of Lubbock; Jennifer Pruitt of Fort Worth; step sons J.D. Castro and wife Becky of Austin and Phillip Castro and wife Cassie of Colorado; seven special grandchildren; his father George Taft, Sr. of Dallas; sisters Victoria Berry of Tracy, CA and Eva Taft of Log Cabin City, TX along with brother George Taft, Jr., also of Log Cabin City. A graveside funeral service will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 23, 2014. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.
