Obituary for Robert R. "Bob" Moss
Robert “Bob” R. Moss, age 76 of Irving, died on November 13, 2014. He was born in Geneva County, Alabama to Robert Lee Moss and Esther Bea Bass Moss on May 10, 1938 and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Air Force. After twenty years of service, Bob retired as a Technical Sergeant and then went on to work as a ROTC Instructor for both the Irving and Denton Independent School Districts until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ray R. Moss. Bob will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Helon Moss of Irving; daughters Deborah Lynn Ryan of Arlington and Donna Marie Rinkenberger and her husband Lonnie of Granbury; sister Betty Jean Bruce of LaGrange, GA; grandchildren Melissa Nicole Eatmon and husband William, Mallory Ann Renfro, Austin Harrison Ryan and Chance Adam Rinkenberger along with great grandson Christopher S. Eatmon. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 21, 2014(?) in the Plymouth Park Baptist Church Chapel in Irving with Reverend Bob Harper officiating followed by a committal service with full military honors at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home in Irving on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM and requests memorial donations be made to Plymouth Park Baptist Church at www.plymouthpark.org or 1714 N. Story Road, Irving, TX 75061.
