Edward Tillmon Herron, age 85 of Mesquite, died on November 14, 2014. He was born in Tyler, Texas on May 4, 1929 to Marvin Tillmon Herron and Blanche Martin Herron and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army during World War II. Edward also worked as truck driver in the transportation industry until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Helen Louise Herron and will be greatly missed by his children Charles Herron, Tim Herron, David Herron, Thomas Duvall, Clifford Duvall, Cynthia Hugeley, Patsy Robinson and Sharon Joy Helm. A graveside committal service with military honors will be held at 1:15 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
