Bennie Joe Branch of Irving passed away November 17, 2014. He was born on January 21, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to Joe M. and Lenora Jeanette Branch. Bennie was an Irving resident for 15 years. He enjoyed his work in the oil industry working in the oil fields of West Texas and loved to fish and cross stitch. He served his country in the US Marine Corp. He is preceded in death by his father and is survived by son Joey Fain; mother Lenora Bodle; brothers Harold Branch and wife Pat; George Branch and wife Carolyn and Jackie Frederick; 3 grandchildren; numerous nieces nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday November 23, 2014 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church in Irving with Rev. Bobby Joe Raper officiating. Interment will follow a 2:00 PM at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
