Linda Ward Gorham of Southlake passed away November 18, 2014. She was born on January 23, 1948 in Amonate, Virginia to James and Helen Ward. Linda lived her life constantly caring for and giving to others. She was a loving and hard working wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter and friend. Her 34-year battle with multiple sclerosis was remarkable and admirable. She is finally at peace with her Lord in Heaven. Linda was a member of South MacArthur Church of Christ and the MS Society. She enjoyed gardening, decorating, cooking, dancing and music. She also collected Dept. 56 Snow Villages. She was proud of her official degree from Texas A&M University, a PHT (Putting Hubby Through) twice!! She worked as the administrator for Shady Grove Animal Hospital in Irving for 14 years. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Walter E. Gorham, DVM of Southlake; daughter Dana Gorham Gambill, MS,CRC,CBIS and husband Jason Gambill of Irving; sisters Peggy Hock of Kennesaw, Nebraska; Betty Ward Gorham of Jessup, Georgia and Gail Hudleston of Pensacola, Florida; aunt Aleta Mercer of Cedar Bluff, Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, 11/29/2014 at Christ Church in Irving at 1750 East Airport Freeway.
