Obituary for Everett Gearold Stoneburner

Everett Gearold  Stoneburner
Everett Gene Stoneburner was born in Salesville, Ohio on March 22, 1939 and went to be with our Lord on November 22, 2014. Preceded in death by his parents George and Clarice Stoneburner of Salesville, Ohio and sister Mary Kay Brown of Barnsville, Ohio. Survived by his wife Rose Stoneburner and children, Cheryl Morrison and husband Rickey of McKinney, Texas; Esther Hitt and husband Robert of Royse City, Texas and Patrick Stoneburner of Irving, Texas. He has five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. While serving 20 years in the Marine Corps, he served three tours in Vietnam and three years as a drill instructor at Parris Island Marine Corps Base in Beaufort, South Carolina. He was a member of Diamond Oaks Worship Center in Haltom City for 20 years. He worked wholeheartedly with the Irving Lake Association and volunteered as a member of the Irving Citizens on Patrol for 10 years. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday November 26, 2014 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service following at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. T. C. McIntire officiating. Interment with full military honors will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
