Obituary for Albert Leslie Mammen

Albert Leslie  Mammen
Albert L. Mammen a lifelong resident of Irving passed away December 31, 2014. He was born on September 10, 1923 in Irving to Charlie and Lizzie Mammen. Albert was a master carpenter who was always available to fix anything for anybody. He served his Country in the US Army during WWII. Albert is preceded in death by his wife Joy Mammen; and brothers Ernest and John Mammen. He leaves behind his son and wife Phillip and Laurie Mammen; daughter and husband Joni and Keith Blackmon; grandchildren Ashli Brinkley and husband John; Trevor Mammen; Kyle Blackmon; Rachel Blackmon and Karli Blackmon; great-grandchildren Madison and Drew Brinkley; nephews John and Jim Mammen and niece Pam Ramirez. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 7th at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Grady King officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
