Don E. Wiggins Sr., age 82 and Irving resident, died on January 8, 2015. He was born in Howe, Texas to L.A. Wiggins and Stella Starnes Wiggins on March 1, 1932 and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved working in his yard and taking walks. After his retirement from sales for Cameron Ashley, he spent his time puttering around his home and enjoyed making repairs. He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife of 58 years, Maxine Barnett Wiggins. Don will be forever missed by his sons Don Wiggins, Jr and his wife April of Crandall, TX and Mike Wiggins, Sr. of Irving; his daughter Angela Wiggins Williams of Grand Prairie; treasured grandchildren Michael Wiggins, Jr., Amber Wiggins, Jennifer and Carrie Wiggins; great-grandchildren Emma, Logan and Kayden Driscoll. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. The family will receive friends at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home in Irving on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
