Obituary for Louie Wochner

Louie Wochner, age 88 and Mansfield resident, died suddenly on January 8, 2015. He was born on October 1, 1926 in Irving, Texas to Alfred and Mary Elizabeth Wernli Wochner. He went on to serve his country in the United States Merchant Marines during World II. Louie was very proud to be a World War Veteran and a member of the Merchant Marines. He had a love of planes and was a licensed pilot. He is preceded in death by his parents and will be forever missed by his beloved daughter Belinda Wochner of Rhome, Texas; treasured granddaughters Karen Hordern and Sherry Gill of Rhome; great-grandchildren Taylor and Kaycee Hordern, Colby Cloud and Samantha Gill. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 12, 2015 in Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Irving with interment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 12, 2015, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and request memorial donations to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Shriner’s Hospital Children in Dallas or Mansfield Cares.
