Obituary for Morean "Sandy" Lewis (Liles)
Morean “Sandy” Lewis, age 76 and Irving resident, died on January 15, 2015. She was born in Warner, Oklahoma on April 29, 1938 to Elmer Lilies and Nellie Gladys Glasgow Liles. Sandy was homemaker and spent her days nurturing and caring for her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. Left to forever cherish her memory is her husband Bill Lewis of Irving; son Randy Thompson and his wife Gladys of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter Vickie Shreves and husband Mark of Spring Branch, TX; daughter Marsha Cassady and her husband Jim of Gallion, OH; daughter Pam Eccles of Columbus, TX; daughter Sharon Dover and husband Art of Alma, OK; daughter Brenda Lewis of Houston; son Chuck Lewis of Midwest City, OK; sister Adlene “Addie” Cottrell also of Irving along with thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Grace Pointe Church located at 208 South Story Road in Irving, Texas. The family requests memorial donations be made to Grace Pointe Church (mygracepointe.com).
