Mavis Richardson Lucas
February 22, 1928 – February 5, 2015. Mavis Lucas, a longtime resident of Irving, Texas went to her new home in heaven. She is survived by two children, Cynthia Lucas Sisco and Roxanne Lucas Myers; granddaughter Kim Myers Buckman, husband Jason Buckman, Great- Grandson Cooper Buckman, and granddaughter Kindra Myers Roberts and husband Clint Roberts; brother, Gordon Richardson and many other relatives and friends. Mavis moved from Bristol, England to Texas where she met her husband, Charles D. Lucas, Jr. of Irving. Known as “Mimi” to her family, she enjoyed her British Club and a good cup of hot tea. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Lucas, Jr., and daughter, Elizabeth Lucas. May they all be in peace and living in joy in Heaven. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A service will be held Saturday, February 21st at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church, 516 South O’Connor Road, Irving, Texas.
