Mary Wilma Thomason, age 84 of Irving, died on February 11, 2015. She was born in Tate County, Mississippi on March 14, 1930 to William Newton Crockett and Winnie Billingsley Crockett. Wilma was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a long time member at Irving Baptist Fellowship. She loved singing in her church choir and was a talented seamstress. Wilma is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband C.D. Thomason of Irving; sons Jim Thomason and his wife Lisa of North Richland Hills and Glen Thomason and his wife Maggie of Irving; adored grandchildren Chali, Sunni and Joshua Thomason; Jimmy Thomason, April Hansford, Amber Tye along with seven great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Irving followed by a committal service at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas at 11:30 AM. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the funeral home.
