Patricia Anne “Pat” Bolger of Irving passed away March 4, 2015. She was born on December 14, 1933 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Bunyan and Frances Frye. She graduated from Irving High School in 1950 and later attended Arlington State College. Pat started her career with The Dan Boone Insurance Agency, then opened Bolger Insurance Agency with her husband Meredith and later founded Custom Craft Design, an interior design company. She was currently serving on the Board of the Salvation Army and previously served as the first President of Altrus, Irving; and was a Past President of the Jaycettes. She was also active for many years with Texas Fest and numerous other volunteer and fund raising events where she always said yes to help wherever she could. Preceded in death by her parents and grandson Joseph Robert “Joe Bob” Bolger. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Meredith Bolger of Irving; son Douglas Bolger of North Richland Hills; daughter Kay Bolger Matthews and husband Mickey of Harrisonburg, Virginia; son Joe Bolger of McAlister, Oklahoma; daughter Suzie Bolger of Colleyville; brother Joe Frye and wife Wilma of Grand Prairie, Texas; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Calvary Church from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Calvary Church, 4401 Highway 161, Irving, Texas 75038 with Pastor J. Don George Officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
