Mollie Carrie Crow Patrick, age 87, formerly of Irving, died in Sulphur Springs, Texas on March 4, 2015. She was born in Tyler, Texas on January 22, 1928 to Andrew Jackson Crow and Florence Truman Ashley Crow. Mollie married the love of her life, Curtis Truman Patrick, in 1947 and they moved to Irving in 1949. Mollie retired from Chrysler Credit. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Irving, and enjoyed her Ladies’ Sunday School class and activities with the Evergreen group. She was also an avid 42 Player. Mollie is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and one sister, and her beloved husband. She will be forever missed by her son Darwin Patrick and his wife Diane of Mount Vernon, TX; her brother Darwin Crow of Irving; her grandchildren Kellie Getty and her husband Stephen; Curtis Patrick and his wife Elicia; Kevin Patrick and his wife Jennifer; and her precious great-grandchildren Corwin and Aliera Getty; Sabrina, Sydney and Isabel Patrick; and Rylie, Mollie and Maxwell Patrick. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Chapel in Irving with Reverend Jim Parker officiating followed by interment in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery #2 in Wood County, Golden, Texas at 4:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
