Thorel “T.G.” Miller, age 95 and Irving resident for over 52 years, died on March 9, 2015. He was born in Jay County, Indiana on October 6, 1919 to John Wesley Miller and Dora Warren Miller and owned and operated Tile Dies, Inc. in Irving. After retirement he raised and showed miniature horses, through T.D.I Miniatures, and was an avid gardener. T.G. is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife of 72 years, Mayme V. Miller, and several brothers and sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Connie Burden of Irving; his granddaughters Glenna Heraly of Krum and Carol Kirby of Flower Mound; his great-grandchildren Jeff Cavin of Irving; Thomas Cavin of Dallas; Caylee Cavin of Irving; Jonah and Taylor Kirby both of Flower Mound along with his brother Paul Leon Miller of Portland, Indiana. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Irving with Pastor Brad Kenney officiating followed by interment in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
