Dorothy M. Sissom, age 88 and resident of Carrollton, died on March 9, 2015. She was born on July 21, 1926 in Paris, Texas and earned a living doing clerical work in the retail industry. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband and will be greatly missed by her daughter, Sherry Black and her husband Terry; her son Buddy Sissom; her daughter Betti Gregory along with six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 16, 2015 in Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Irving with visitation two hours prior to the service from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will immediately follow the service at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
