Asa W. Bigham, age 85, died Wednesday May 6, 2015. He was born in Waxahachie, TX to Robert Gordon Bigham and Texana Maureen Wilkirson. Asa proudly served his country, in the US Navy from 1947-1951, serving with the China Occupational Force, receiving an honorable discharge with the proud rank of TE3. He soon then began his career with AER Mfg Inc. in Addison in which he retired from in 1993, after 40 years. Asa is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, left to love, miss and cherish his memories are his loving wife of 61 years Jackie Bigham; son Robert Bigham and wife Susan; son Gene Bigham and wife Krista; and his six grand darlings, Asa Chase, Austin, Ashlyn, Brett, Dakota, and Rachael. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday May 11, 2015 with a time of remembrance at 7:00 pm at Brown’s Memorial Funeral home. A committal service with Military Honors will be held 2:00pm Tuesday May 12, 2015 at the Dallas Ft Worth National cemetery. Family requests Memorial to the Irving Healthcare Foundation @ P.O.
