Obituary for Mary Jane Flores (Compton)
Mary Jane Flores, age 81 of Irving, died on June 11, 2015. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to James G. Compton and Aida Buitron Compton on October 22, 1933. Mary worked in management in the textiles and fabric industry. She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband Antonio “Tony” Flores in 2004. Left to cherish Mary’s memory are her daughters Toni Flores and husband Tim Price of Roanoke; Irma Flores and husband Nazario Esparza of Irving; son Dean Anthony Flores also of Irving; son Christopher Flores and wife Laureen of Arlington; daughters Gracie Flores; Stacy Flores and her spouse Gary Davidson along with sister Mable O. Compton, all of Irving. Mary will also be forever missed by her seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the California Lane Church of Christ located at 1906 California Lane in Arlington, Texas, 76015 with Pastor David Kelley officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 to 11:00 AM just prior to the service.
