Shirley Ann Capetillo, age 77, and longtime resident of Irving died Friday, June 12, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at home. She was born June 7, 1938, in Hugo Oklahoma, to Claude Lawrence and Myrtle Smith Lawrence. Shirley enjoyed spending time gardening, especially when it came to her ivies, in which she was very proud of. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who enjoyed cooking for anyone who came to her house, but above all she loved spending time and caring for her family the most. She is preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and one brother. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 46 years Raymond Capetillo; son James Goodson and wife Nikki; son Randy Cravey; daughter Lisa Horton and husband Rockey; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Wednesday June 17, 2015 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jim Gerlach officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday June 15, 2015 from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM.
