Marie Chilelli, age 95 of Green Valley, Arizona and former Irving resident, died on June 12, 2015. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 29, 1920 to Gaetano Costanza and Domenica Scardine Costanza. Marie was retired from the food service industry and loved bowling and playing bingo. She volunteered and made rosaries for St. Luke’s Catholic Church while she was a member of their parish. Marie and her husband Emanuel were also actively involved with the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed volunteering at their booth at St. Luke’s annual festival. She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Emanuel “Dodge” Chilelli, her great grandson Matthew and her four siblings. Marie will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and forever missed by her daughter Janet Osburn and her husband Tom; her grandchildren Kristin Osburn Beth and spouse Michael; Kerry Thomas Osburn and wife Stephanie; great-grandchildren Nathaniel, Dalaney, Ethan and Violet. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home in Irving. A private family entombment will take place at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
