Obituary for Charles Flay Blount
Charles (Chuck) Flay Blount, age 74 of Irving, Texas passed away on June 18, 2015 at 10:08am. The funeral service will be held at 12:30pm on Thursday June 25, 2015 at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home in Irving Texas. Dr. Elizabeth Vaugh will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8pm on Wednesday the 24th at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home, burial will follow the funeral at DFW National cemetery at 2pm.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Brown's Memorial Funeral Home.
Charles was born in Dallas Texas on April 25, 1941 he graduated from high school went to college for a few years then enlisted in the Navy, before getting married and having kids.
Charles worked as a truck driver for East Texas Motor Freight for over 40 years. He enjoyed traveling, family and friends and his favorite hobby was acting in the movies.
Charles is survived by his children Connie Coyne, Joann Gouge and Marvin Blount II his sisters Rosanne Kayl and Geri Sue Morgan, his grandkids, great grandkids and other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Connie Coyne at 1807 Belmead Ln., Irving, TX 75061
