Morris Lynn Corely, age 66 and 40-year Irving resident, died on July 9, 2015. He was born on January 4, 1949, in Baird, Texas to Thurman Carry Corley and Lenora Smith Corley. Morris was a graduate of Clyde High School and went on to serve his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He lent his talent as a pipeline superintendent for 35 years to Driver Pipeline Company and also for Larret Energy Services and Watkins Construction Company in Corsicana. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family and square dancing. Morris is preceded in death by his parents and left to treasure his memory and carry on his legacy are his beloved wife LaDean Corley; son Ricky Corley and wife Deborah of Keller; stepdaughter Jill Schultz and husband James of Corinth; stepson Jason Black of Sachse; grandchildren Alden, Reese, Trace and Brie Black and Shelby and Jenson Schultz. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial immediately following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 12, 2015.
