Obituary for Patricia Vincent Hall Jarrell (Hall)
Patricia Vincent Hall Jarrell was born December 19, 1945 in Richmond, Virginia to Emmett Vivian Hall, Jr. and Annie Coxon Vincent Hall, and died July 9, 2015 in Winnsboro, Texas. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and brother Emmett Vivian Hall, III. Pat will be missed by her daughter Patricia Gilmore and her husband Charles Alan Gilmore; grandchildren Schuyler Hall Gilmore and Charles Alan Gilmore, Jr.; her sister Anne Hall Gould; brother Michael Fenwick Hall and his wife Nancy Cole Hall; nephews Emmett Vivian Hall, IV and Michael Henry Vincent Hall, and her nieces Laura Elizabeth Hall and Sarah Michelle Hall. Pat was graduated from Irving High School in 1964 where she was a member of the Toy Tigers Drill Team and went on to attend Texas Tech University, becoming a member of Gamma Phi Beta. Pat was an accomplished artist who enjoyed sculpting, woodworking and jewelry-making, but Pat’s oil paintings displayed her true talent. In addition to her artistic endeavors, Pat enjoyed cooking, animals and all things Southern. Pat’s patriotism and love for her country were always apparent as she was often seen sporting her favorite red, white and blue clothes and American Flag pins. Private services will be held as the family celebrates her life and accomplishments. The family requests memorials be made to the DFW Humane Society, 4140 Valley View Lane, Irving, Texas 75038, (www.dfwhumane.com/donations) or to the Winnsboro Animal Shelter, 835 Hope Lane, Winnsboro, Texas 75494.
