Obituary for Robert John Vukasovich

Robert John  Vukasovich
Robert “Bob” John Vukasovich, his suffering finally ended and he found peace on Thursday July 30, 2015 and now resides with the angels in heaven. He was born August 9, 1936 in Edenborn, PA, to John Vukasovich and Mary Makovlich Vukasovich. Bob proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Later in life he retired after 40 years of service from Austin Bridge & Road in Dallas TX, where he was an equipment manager. Robert is preceded in death by his parents; sister Mildred Gontko; brother Daniel Vukasovich, who was killed in the Korean war; and his grandson Ryan Sullivan. Left to carry on his life and legacy is his loving wife, Shirley Vukasovich; son Robert John Vukasovich Jr. and wife Leslie Malitz, daughter Deborah Vaillancourt and husband Butch, son Kelly Sullivan and daughter in law Karen Sullivan; grandson Christopher and wife Carrie, and granddaughter Amber Sullivan. A funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 5th, 2015 at Browns Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 from 7:00 pm till 9:00 pm, also at the funeral home. An Inurnment service with military honors will occur at a later date at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
