Eunice Alexander, long time Irving resident, died on September 15, 2015 at age 94. She was born in Johnson County, Texas on June 23, 1921 to Buster Clyde Burdett and Sarah Estella (Holder) Burdett. Eunice worked as an Inspector for Sears and had been an active member of the First Baptist Church of Irving since 1953. She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Ivan Alexander, her brother Arvin Burdett and sister Letha Shelton. Eunice will be forever missed by her son Clifford Alexander and wife Peggy of Azle; daughter Sharon Waldron of Irving; brother Travis Burdett of Alvarado; sister Inez Littleton of Mansfield along with six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 19, 2015 in Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with interment immediately following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
