Dee McGuire, age 77, died Tuesday September 22, 2015. She was born in Borger, Texas on October 11, 1937 to Finis Sidney Tidwell and Velma Lee Weatherly Tidwell. She retired from her career as an assistant apartment manager at Chesterfield Apartments, in 2010, and was a proud member of TAA (Texas Apartment Association,) Eastern Star Century Chapter #24, of Wichita Falls, and had participated in many charities throughout her life. Left to remember and cherish her memory are sons; Stephen A. Cobb and wife Jeni F., of Grand Prairie, Stewart D. Cobb and wife Michelle of Wichita Falls; grandchildren Elissa M. Cobb of Colorado Springs, CO, Jeremy R. Cobb and wife Rose of Austin, Ethan A. Cobb of Austin, Mackenzie R. Cobb of Wichita Falls, and Braden S. Cobb of Wichita Falls; great grandchild Phoenix J. Cobb of Colorado Springs, Co. and her brother Guy E. Tidwell of Houston. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Monday September 28, 2015, in the Brown’s Chapel, 707 North MacArthur Blvd., Irving, with internment at 11:30 am at Moore Memorial Gardens, 815 West Randol Mill Road in Arlington. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm till 5:00 pm, Sunday September 27, 2015 at the funeral home.
