Billy Joe  Smith
Billy Joe Smith, long time Irving resident, died at age 84 in Irving. He was born in Eastland, Texas on August 3, 1931 to Thomas Earl Smith and Ola Lea (Weaver) Smith. Billy proudly served his country in the United States Army and then made his living in the transportation industry as a truck driver. He is preceded in death by his son Billy Smith, he leaves behind his beloved wife Ruby Jean Smith; daughter Deborah Smith Howard; son Robert Smith; granddaughters, April Smith and Trina Smith and grandson Casey Smith. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Irving. Billy will be laid to rest in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery with a committal service at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 28, 2015.
