Glenda “Sue” Carroll, long time Irving resident, died on October 1, 2015 at age 70. Her life began in Irving, where she born to James Harold Richards and Zelma Mae (Conner) Richards on July 17, 1945. Sue devoted her life and time to the care and nurturing of her family and she LOVED Bingo. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, wife and friend to all who knew her. Sue is preceded death by her parents, sister Sheila Richards, stepfather Joe Reese and brother, Dennis Richards. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 44 years, Glendon Carroll; daughters Dana Cross, Jody McCammon and her husband Junior and Tammy Carroll; sons Jason Carroll and wife Kelli and Jamie Carroll; brother Mike Richards and wife Laverne; sister Louise Hebert and husband Charles; grandchildren Amanda, Cassey, Justin, Troy, Jacob, Lily and Brendon along with great grandchildren Landon, Trenton and Clorinda and numerous special friends. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:15 PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
