Ronald Joseph Beumer, PhD, age 72, died Wednesday October 7, 2015, at his home in Irving, surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 25, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, to Joseph Bernard Beumer and Mary Ann Brockman Beumer. Ronald was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society an international honor society of science and engineering. After acquiring his PhD, Ronald continued with his love of science and became a biology professor. Ronald was an amazing man who touched the lives of all he met through life and through church ministries, in which he volunteered. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Patricia Williams. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 46 years, Lynn Yates Beumer of Irving; daughter Jennifer Caroul and husband Marc of Irving; sister Marilyn Stancombe of San Antonio; brother Michael Beumer and wife Cathy of Cincinnati Ohio; grandchildren Catherine, Joseph and Emily Caroul, all of Irving; brother-in- law Edward Williams, of Cincinnati, Ohio along with many nieces, nephews and other family members.
