Mattie Lee Shelly, resident of Arlington, died at age 74 on October 27, 2015. She started her life’s journey on April 4, 1941 in Center Valley, Arkansas, born to Noah and Effie (Rudder) Mahan. Mattie worked as an assistant apartment manager in the housing industry. She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband. Mattie will be forever missed by her son Leroy Shelly of Arlington, daughter Karen Davis Irving; sisters Louise Jenson of Minnesota, Imogene Anderson of London, Arkansas; Lilly Kendrick of Pottsville, Arkansas; Mabiel Gobieb of Los Angeles, California; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 1:30 pm, November 8th, 2015, at Pantego Bible Church at 8001 Anderson Blvd. Fort Worth Texas 76120.
