Obituary for Tommy Charles Spillar

Tommy Charles   Spillar
Tommy Charles Spillar was born in Austin, Texas on June 14, 1931 to Tom Bascom Spillar and Gladys Ione Williams Spillar. He died at home peacefully on Monday, November 9, 2015. Tommy is survived by his wife of 58 years Evangeline with whom he shared a wonderful journey of travel and love. Also survived by special cousins Terry Todd and his wife Jan, Gayle Jones and husband Ed, Russell Williams and wife Linda, and Connie Todd; and a special aunt Janice. Tommy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1954 and went on to a career with Vought Aircraft for 38 years. Tommy served as both a Deacon and a Ruling Elder at Woodhaven Presbyterian Church, in Irving where both he and Evangeline were charter members. His Memorial Service occurs at the church, 3650 North O’Connor Road, on Saturday, November 14 at 11:00 a.m. Dr. Diane M. Baldwin officiating.
