Mike Fillion, age 74, died Saturday, November 7, 2015. He was born February 4, 1941, in Detroit Michigan to David Gotman Fillion and Barbara (Henderson) Fillion. Mike is previously from Commerce Township, and Walled Lake Michigan, where he owned and operated for 50 years, Dave’s Automotive Repair and Towing, until his retirement in 2006. He proudly served in the United States Army, as a medic, and was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, who enjoyed his guns and drag racing in his free time. Left to carry on Mikes memory is son Jeffery Michael Fillion of Redding, California; sisters Laura Bostwick and husband Ken of Ohio, Vicky Morris and husband Ken of Tennessee; nieces Donna Lechleiter of Ohio, Kara Wilson and husband Zach of Ohio, Natalie Piteo and husband Jeremy of Tennessee; nephew Greg Morris and wife Bethany of Ohio, numerous great grand nieces and nephews. A graveside service with Army Honors, will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
