Obituary for Frankie "Polie" Rodgers

Frankie "Polie"  Rodgers
Frankie “Polie” Rodgers, resident of Irving, died at age 71 on November 19, 2015. He was born in Durant, Oklahoma to Lester Ray and Neva Velleta (Newkirk) Rodgers on May 1, 1944 and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. Frankie also worked for the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department for 10 years as an Accident Scene Investigation Officer. His true passion was for truck driving and he worked for Twin River Logistics as an independent driver. Frankie loved fishing and his family. He was a genuine family man and will be forever missed and remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Frankie is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tony Dean Rodgers. Left to cherish his memory and legacy are beloved wife Linda Rich of Irving; son James William Rodger and his wife Angela of Irving; son Kenneth Nabors and wife Lisa of Euless; daughter Regina Brazel and her husband Jason of Royse City; precious grandchildren Benjamin Mitchell, Allen Gammel, Sean and Zackery Nabors, Blake, Matthew and Hannah-Kay Brazel; great-granddaughter Aubrey Gammel; brothers Jesse Rodgers and Rita of Durant, OK, Lester Rodgers of Calera, OK, James F. Rodgers and wife Lynda of Caldwell, Idaho, along with sister-in-law Nancy Rodgers and numerous friends.
