Devoted and loving husband and father, Peter White King, age 73 and longtime Irving resident, passed away on November 23, 2015. He was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on September 2, 1942 to George and Lucille King. As a young man, Peter served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He then worked as a truck driver in the transportation industry for Central Freight Line for over thirty years. Peter was a selfless man who would help anyone in their time of need. His love of horses and other animals was a lifelong passion. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Holman King and daughter Kathy King. Peter will be forever missed by his beloved wife of 45 years, Katsuyo King of Irving; daughter Lucinda Smith and husband Travis of Flower Mound and their children Graham and Elliott along with daughter Janet Barnett of Little Elm and her son Jeffrey. The family will receive friends at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
