Lois Jean Blackburn, age 84, died January 27, 2016. She was born in Plano, Texas, November 3, 1931 to Samuel N. Cook and Beulah (Belcher) Cook. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Blackburn, daughter Kay Brown and granddaughter Kristy Harlow. Left to cherish her memory are sons Jay Blackburn and wife Anne, Mark E. Blackburn and wife Laura; grandchildren Mathew Blackburn, Laura Kay Blackburn, Brent Blackburn and wife Elizabeth, Stephanie Ostwinkle and husband Kyle; great grandchildren Anthony Brown, Kayla Harlow, Emma Blackburn, Jackson Blackburn, Blake Blackburn and Baby Blackburn (on the way.) Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with interment immediately following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
