James Allen Rice Sr., of Antlers, Oklahoma, was taken from this world and family, unexpectedly on Wednesday April 13, 2016 at the age of 62. He was born in Dallas, Texas on April 25, 1953, to Johnny and Virginia Lylan (Whiteman) Rice. James was a loving father, grandfather and brother to all of the people in his life; he loved to fish, enjoyed gambling but most of all was the pureness and love he held for all children and animals. He is preceded in death by his parents and only son James Allen Rice Jr.; left to cherish his memory are daughter Tina Kay Johnson of Arlington; granddaughter Kaitlyn Marie Johnson; sisters Kathy Daniels and Sharon Jett of Terrell; Evelyn Rice along with numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, with Pastor Joshua Price officiating; interment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens immediately following.
