Ricky Lynn Herring, previously of Vidor, Texas and a fourteen year Hurst resident, died in Hurst, on April 26, 2016 at the age of 60. He was born to James David and Nelda Lois (Kliem) Herring in DeRidder, Louisiana on October 20, 1955. Ricky worked in sales until his retirement and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. The thing Ricky loved most of all was his family and spending time with them. He is preceded in death by his father James, and left to cherish his memory are his wife Alice “Joni” Joan Herring of Hurst; son Kenneth Stephen Herring and girlfriend Carolina Miranda also of Hurst; son Patrick Cory Herring of Sunnyvale, CA; daughters Jennifer Rebecca Herring Pintus and husband Giacomo of Euless and Kathryn Nicole Bright of Baytown; mother Nelda Lois Herring of Vidor; brothers Joel David Herring and wife Donna, Byron Keith Herring and wife Jill, Martin Lyle Herring and wife Terri, Lance Derrick herring and wife Selina, all of Vidor; grandchildren Julia Grace Bright of Baytown, Brandon James Herring and Tiffany Marie Herring both of Trainer, PA, along with numerous loving nieces and nephews. A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
