Lovelle H. Parker a longtime resident of Irving passed away May 4, 2016 in Irving. She was born on February 4, 1936 in Lakeview, Texas to Flavil and Clara (Moore) Hodge. Lovelle was a member of MacArthur Boulevard Baptist Church in Irving. She is preceded in death by her parents and leaves behind to cherish her memory daughter Rhonda McElfresh and husband Gary of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; son Charles Parker and wife Sandra of Sugar Land, Texas; son Gregg Parker and wife Christine of Dallas, Texas; sister Sue Cosper and husband Chuck of Hereford, Texas; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday May 6, 2016 at Brown;s Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday May 7, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Josh Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas with Pastor Darrin Mechling officiating.
