Obituary for Robert Dew Munn II

Robert “Bob” Dew Munn II, long time resident of Lewisville, died in Carrollton on May 8, 2016 at age 73. He started life in Terrell, Texas on December 27, 1942, beloved son of Robert Dew and Mildred (Payne) Munn SR. Bob was a meteorologist who earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A & M University and gave 25 years of dedicated service to Delta Airlines as a Flight Controller. He also proudly served his country in the United States Airforce as a Weather Observer, earning the rank of Sergeant by the time of his honorable discharge in May of 1969. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, and beloved first wife, Peggy Munn. Left to cherish his memory are his precious wife Rita (Singleton) Munn of Lewisville; much loved son Chad Munn and wife Laurie; cherished grandsons Andrew and Brodie Munn; brother Terry Munn of Lancaster and sister Nancy Neill and husband Clark of Weston. A graveside service was held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
