Lorene “Gigi” Sharp, Irving resident, died on June 11, 2016 at age 100. Her life began in Vossburg, Mississippi, where she was born to Ethel Ervin and Clara Louise (Reynolds) Ross on August 4,1915. Gigi devoted most of her time to loving, caring and nurturing her family. She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, her beloved husband of over 50 years, Vester J. Sharp and son, R. Wayne Sharp. Gigi will be forever missed and remembered as the loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother she was by her daughters Bobbye Marrufo of Littleton, CO, Jaynell Brown and husband Robert E. of Irving; daughter in law Marsha L. Richard of Gallatin, TN along with three grandsons, five granddaughters, sixteen great grandchildren and numerous loving extended family members. A family conducted memorial service will be held following church services on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Crystal Springs United Methodist Church in Crystal Springs, Mississippi with inurnment at 4:30 pm Sunday at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Philadelphia, MS.
