Obituary for Michael M. Neal
Mike Neal, 67, died early in the morning on July 19, 2016 at Baylor hospital in Irving following a recent surgery.
Mike Neal was born on June 10, 1949, in Dallas, Texas to Carl and Lois Neal and was a lifelong Irving resident.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Marie Denton Neal; his daughter Roxann Strout and husband Bradley Strout; his daughter, Darcy Neal; his brothers, Sonny Neal and wife Joanna Neal, Bill Neal and wife Terry Neal; two grandchildren; and many close friends and more distant relatives.
Mike retired from Verizon after 34 years and enjoyed time working in the yard and the open road on his motorcycle. He was also a collector of antiques and a passionate NASCAR fan.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
